It has been confirmed that this is a national BT outage affecting a large number of services.

Dear All

We are aware that multiple problems are being reported in a wide variety of services such as BT, QBO, CSC, Phones etc.

This looks to be a national BT issue but is not 100% clear at this stage.

We, CSC and Wavenet/Hub are all working to gather information and push for a resolution ASAP.
