Data Centre Outage

UK Power Networks have confirmed all works have been completed, and after a period of testing all is now well.

All datacentre works have successfully been completed overnight. Both sites are fully operational.

Work is continuing on the electrical sub-station. Power from this is intermittent, but with the battery stores and generator on-site, no impact is expected.

Due to the issues faced from yesterday’s power outage, our Infrastructure team will be completing some essential data centre maintenance today, from 2100 tonight until 0600 tomorrow.

Owing to the works being conducted, it is possible that you may observe very brief periods of intermittent connectivity to services hosted in our datacentres while this work is completed for which we sincerely apologise in advance.

Following the incident yesterday, the primary data centre is now up and running. UK Power Networks are working on the substation. The secondary data centre will be brought back online as soon as possible. Work is scheduled for tonight to do this.
