Following a fix to the licensing server, TaxCalc have indicated that this should now be permanently resolved. They will continue to monitor the situation. We will update this page if we see any indication that the fix has not worked.
We believe the problem is now resolved, for now, but clearly the concern is why it has come up again and that is being looked at urgently by TaxCalc.
When TaxCalc let us know more about the root cause of the problem this page will be updated.
The TaxCalc team are aware of the issue that is affecting some users and have indicated they expect those who are currently unable to log in should be able to connect by 10:15. TaxCalc are working on this as a priority.
We are aware that some people are still unable to connect. We are speaking with TaxCalc for an update.
A workaround has been implemented which has shown to be successful internally and from an independent report. Though it may take a few seconds longer than normal to connect to the database and present the login screen. Once connected users should notice no difference from normal.
The investigation into the root cause of the problem is ongoing.
